With Bigg Boss OTT season 2 completely wrapped up, the makers of the reality show have started planning the 17th season of the most-watched reality show. Netizens have been left excited as the show will be returning to the small screens in a few months. With every new season the makers bring in new contestants from the television and movie world and new twists to the game, which makes the fans go gaga over it. With speculations regarding the 17th season of Bigg Boss, it is being reported that makers are planning to take the show on another level. According to a report by Free Press Journal, the makers might be planning for a ‘singles vs couples’ theme this year. It is being stated that the makers are planning to pitch popular single celebrities against couples from the Hindi television industry.
The media publication reports that Bigg Boss OTT season 2 contestants Abhishek Malhan, Manisha Rani and Jiya Shankar might be some of the first contestants to participate in the show in the singles group. On the other hand, for the couple group, Pandya Store fame Kanwar Dhillon-Alice Kaushik and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’s Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma might participate in the show. In total the makers are planning to bring 5 singles and 4 couples together under one roof.
As per the FPJ report, Bigg Boss 17 is expected to start in October 2023. Official details on any of the above is yet to be made by the makers of the show. The new season will be hosted by Salman Khan.
For the unversed, Bigg Boss 16 was won by MC Stan and Bigg Boss OTT 2 was won by Elvish Yadav.
